Our Qualifications
Valerie Love-Parker joined the financial services industry in 2002. Her foray into financial services began with a personal desire to learn more about how to make her money work. It grew to a determination to be able to pass this information on to help others live their lives in a manner that allows them to prosper and live life more abundantly. Valerie Love-Parker is compelled by her own unique passion for literacy, a desire for deeper personal solutions, as well as an endeavor for a creative, more efficient way to address the needs of those who put their trust in the advice and guidance of professionals.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration; a Master of Arts, with a focus on Faith Based Community Planning and Education; 26 years as a military officer in a military medical unit and subsequent training unit; 10 years teaching experience with Chicago Public Schools as a certified teacher teaching physical and chemical sciences; and experience as a pre-licensing instructor for financial service industry representatives, Valerie provides leadership that spans the complexities of the financial planning process. An intricate part of her plan development of services and solutions is to draw from personal experiences, training, continued education, and networking collaborations to properly address the personal circumstances, goals, and concerns of individuals. All of this in an effort to foster the movement toward, or maintenance of, an abundant prosperous life of independence from life's hindrances. In addition, Valerie is FINRA registered in securities and licensed in life and health insurance.
In forming Phoe. Fi. for APL, Valerie was attracted to the opportunity to educate using a holistic approach. Her focus is on offering information about retirement and risk management, business strategies and skills to enhance individual professionalism, in addition to information on the essentials of proper body nutrients (what is life without a healthy body).
Valerie believes that the strength and reliability of the services she provides stand on the selection of quality products, her collaborative relationships with professionals, as well as her own standard of professionalism, honor and respect for the values of those whom she serves.
